My glazes

In 1983 I took a course in glaze chemistry with the English ceramist and teacher John Colbeck, and I have never bought any ready-made glaze since then. Over more than 30 years I have tested more than 700 recipes for glazes in my workshop, finally selecting 12 that I use for my production. I always use two complementary glazes, playing on the contrast between the shades of the colours and the gloss/matt effect.
